  • Arkaba Homestead has five guest rooms (maximum ten guests)
      ○ 4 within the Homestead

Power

Our remote location is blessed with an abundance of nature and a spectacular setting, its very remoteness also brings challenges, one of which is power generation. Our environmental principles extend to how we generate and use power. Most of our power is generated by the sun with back-up diesel power for when that is not sufficient.

Being one of the single biggest users of power on the property, there is a surcharge applied to air conditioning. Air conditioning must be requested at the time of booking and is not available in the Kingfisher Suite or Jabiru Retreat.

Electric Vehicle Charging

It is not possible to charge Electric Vehicles at Bamurru Plains. The nearest charging station is at Corroboree Park Tavern Marrakai 2174 Arnhem Hwy, Marrakai NT 0822 about 1.5 hours from Bamurru Plains.
